Terms of Service

These terms set out the agreement between you and PersonalZap for use of the Service.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PersonalZap website and assistant service (the "Service"), provided by PERSONALZAP PLT, a limited liability partnership registered in Malaysia (Registration No. 202604002848) ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

PersonalZap provides an AI assistant that carries out tasks for your business — for example managing your website, handling email and documents, and connecting to third-party services you authorise. We may add, change or withdraw features over time.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. You agree to give accurate information, to keep your login details secure, and to be responsible for activity that happens under your account.

4. Plans, fees and billing

• Standard — US$99 per month (RM399 per month for Malaysian customers).
• Premium — US$299 per month (RM1,199 per month for Malaysian customers).
• The price shown at checkout in your local currency is the price that applies.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel.
• A valid credit card is required to create an account. We do not offer a free plan.
• Each plan includes a free .com domain name registration at the standard price. Premium-priced names are not included, and only domains that are available can be registered.
• Each plan also includes an allowance for the assistant's work, including any images it creates.
• Your allowance is used by the assistant's normal operation. Choosing a more powerful AI model, or making heavier requests, uses your allowance faster.
• You can upgrade at any time. If you upgrade, we charge the difference for the rest of the current month straight away, and your monthly billing date stays the same.
• Upgrades are permanent. Once your account has moved to Premium, it cannot be moved back down to Standard. Please be sure before you upgrade.
• Payments are handled by our payment provider. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, send spam, distribute malware, attempt to breach security, or resell the Service without our permission. We may suspend accounts that put the Service or other customers at risk.

6. Third-party services and your authorisations

You may connect third-party services, such as Google Workspace. By connecting a service you authorise us to access and act on your data as needed to carry out the tasks you request. You must comply with that provider's terms (including Google's), and you confirm you have the right to grant that access. We may suspend a connection if the provider requires it or if it poses a security risk.

7. Artificial intelligence — important

AI can be wrong. The assistant's output may be inaccurate or incomplete, and it is not legal, financial, medical or tax advice. You are responsible for reviewing anything the assistant produces before you rely on it or send it to anyone. You are responsible for what is sent or published from your accounts.

8. Your content and our property

You own your content and the data in your connected accounts. You grant us a licence to use your content only to run and improve the Service. We own the Service, its software and our brand names.

9. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance and may need to suspend the Service occasionally.

10. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims and costs arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. Your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if we must by law, or if we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable notice.

When your subscription ends, we decommission the server and infrastructure provided for your assistant at the end of the period you have paid for. The domain name we registered for you stays registered until its expiry date. We can transfer it to you on request; otherwise we hold it until expiry and then release it.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and update the date above. If a change is material, we will tell you in advance.
